Long time B&D reader. Really enjoyed the book.

This book is almost exclusively aimed at entrepreneurs and artists, which I'm not. Execs, military, physicians, PhD's, plenty of leaders in self-purpose driven fields who would benefit from Victor's motivational skills, but he's really got a hard-on for his online entrepreneur demographic and it's throbbing throughout the entire book.
It would've been easy to read it as if I was critiquing it. To just browse through it casually, comparing it to other works of self-improvement, looking for things I agreed with and disagreed with. Maybe reading with my eyes, while thinking about something else.
Instead I read it with full attention. I turned off the option to see what others highlighted (because seriously.. who gives a sh**?) I let myself get absorbed into it. I entered the mindset of a person who thinks like the author and says the words he says and genuinely believes them. I finished the book over the course of two nights and I was left wanting to take over the world. It was like I'd popped an adderall that lasted a full week.
Of course, motivation is temporary. Discipline is what counts. Luckily I've got a good amount of that already, so a burst of extra motivation every now and then is useful. If you know how to use that fleeting, fired up feeling that some movies and books will leave you with, get this book.
Victor is a master of motivational writing. That's all there is to say. You will be fired up. It'll be temporary like all things, but you can do a lot in that time to start new habits, plan for your future, and get moving (or moving faster) towards the life you want to be living.

Helped me find my direction in life.

I loved the breakdown showing the difference between black and white work (necessary maintenance) and full color work (creative) and why each is essential. Also good was the description of the ideal work environment. I'd only criticize that toward the end there was some repetition. However, the final bit with the worksheet really worked well for me. I now know what is really important. I'm one of the over thinkers always hesitating, trying to find the perfect plan. When I quit my 9 to 5, I floundered, mentally running in all directions. This book has given me the keys to choose and move.
If anyone reads this who hasn't read the website too, I also recommend that -boldanddetermined.com. This book pulls together a lot of ideas from the website to show how everything comes together. You can see how many of these topics are dealt with individually on the website.

A Phenomenal Book for a Specific Audience.

I just finished reading this book and have to say I loved it.
I have to warn you though that this book is not for everyone.
And yet this is what makes it such a good book.
It feels like wisdom being handed down to a new generation from someone who's already been there.
It's for all the people out there struggling to try and figure out how to get more out of their life. The guys who can't stand another second of the 9-5 but can't settle for just any method of making money.
If you aren't tuned in to the frequency required to take this book in, then it won't make sense.
But if you are, then this book is exactly what you've been waiting for.
As an outcast and an artist, this book could not come at a better time as I am finally beginning to understand the root of my frustrations with living below my potential.
I'm going to use this book and create an A->B battle plan to get where I want to go.
I think this book can help someone not only find purpose in their life but also a way to live off that purpose and achieve ultimate freedom.
