I have been studying and investing in real estate for 10 years. This book is a good system for investing. I totally agree that you must have a good real estate agent.

It is simple and straight forward but some glaring holes ...

It is simple and straight forward but some glaring holes in the strategy.
I don't know of a realtor that will consistently put in offers at 60% of listing price and in a buyers market you wouldn't be landing these deals anyways. Also he is offer off of the listing price of the property which means nothing accept to the seller. You need to offer off the ARV (After Repair Value) of the property which he does not go into.
It is an interesting strategy but I don't see it working long term as you will burn out your real estate agent by making so many offers at low prices as most people on the MLS are not desperate enough buyers to accept those low offers. He does admit it is a numbers game, so I am sure you would land one every once in a while.

Another Good One

I just finished Terris after rereading Compis and Aeris. First off, LOVE this series. This book really moved things along. There is ALOT happening, which can make parts feel slower. We meet more creatures, we see government changes, and learn more about the world the five tribes exsist in.

There are a lot of things still unresolved. I am very excited for the next book to come out and see where things are heading.

One of the best books I have read

I am not a usual fantasy or sci-fi reader, but a friend convinced me to read The Star of the Guardians series. In fact, the only fantasy I had read before this were The Lord of the Rings. I became addicted to The Star of the Guardians as soon as I picked them up! King's Sacrifice stuck out in my mind as the best one in the series though (I cried more than I did in Gone With the Wind and The Man in the Iron Mask(the book) combined). The best part about this book was the inexorable destinies of Lady Maigrey and Lord Sagan, and their romantic interactions with one another. Now don't get me wrong! It isn't all mush, it is very quick-paced! The mush just got to me the most. The only thing about this book is that the writing is good, but not excellent like Ray Bradbury or Margaret Atwood...in other words, it's not what you might call a contemporary classic. From a well read person, I think you would like it.

King's Sacrafice takes us back to the galaxy with Dion, Sagan and Maigrey. This novel picks up right where the prequel lets off......it is high paced, and leaves you on the edge of your seat. Scenes with Abdiel are very intense, and entertaining. I loved this novel due to the influx of new intriguing characters. See who will finally control the galaxy! Will it be Dion? Or Sagan? Or Maigrey? Or a combination of all three?

This book, which was intended to be the conclusion of the Star of the Guardians series, is just about as different from the usual mass-marketable science fiction as you can get. Not only will you be alternatively mesmerized, horrified and deliriously excited by the graphic action, but your heart will truly go out to the main characters. You will marvel at their choices, rejoice at the outcomes or mourne their fates... do not think you will escape the conclusion dry-eyed.
And at the end, like the legions of Margaret Weis' fans, you will also want to raise a bloodsword to the courage of Lady Maigrey, Lord Sagan and Dion Starfire!!
